Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $45–$55 per hour
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in estate planning and trust administration
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal to support our Trusts and Estates practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning and trust administration, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
Manage all aspects of trust administration, such as preparing accountings, handling asset transfers, and communicating with trustees and beneficiaries.
Support probate proceedings by preparing petitions, inventories, and other court documents.
Conduct legal research related to estate planning and probate matters.
Coordinate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.
Prepare and file court documents electronically, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain organized client files and ensure compliance with firm protocols.
Communicate with tax advisors, accountants, and other professionals involved in the estate planning process.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in estate planning and trust administration.
Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent education.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
Strong understanding of California probate procedures and court rules.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
